Ok Today is the first argh post. So today after being sick for the past three days my sweet 14 month old son came down with the dreaded cabin fever (to clarify I was the one that was sick, not Phil). He would stand at the front door and wave "bye-bye". I couldn't resist his pleas, so we got ready to go out to the Library, as they had called me about some holds and overdue books. After our trip to the Ferndale Public Library, we swung through a coffee stand to get Raspberry-Peach smoothie. In the car I only took about one or two sips of my delicious treat, waiting to savor it at home while Phillip napped and I perused my new finds from the library.
We got home, I took Phil inside and then returned to get my books and smoothie. I set the smoothie on the car top, while I reached to get my Gatorade (drown a cold right) and books. Then it happened. My 98% full raspberry-peach smoothie slide off the wet car top and splattered all over the driveway and my shoes. It was not salvageable. I gathered my books and Gatorade and tearfully (I am not kidding I was in tears) made my way to the house to call Joel about my unfortunate dilemma. I personally think the Smoothie was jealous of the Gatorade (point to ponder do smoothies get Jealous? do they have feelings?)
This incident is on par with the time I got a hard ice cream milkshake and put it in the very inadequate cup holders and I proceeded to drive my standard transmission car on a hill. My rocky start made my milkshake fall all over my lap and car. Making me late, cause I had to shampoo my car out and change my outfit, for volunteer work.
