Okay, as an adult you are supposed to hate the Snow. Snow keeps you indoors being unproductive, you can't drive, blah blah blah... but to be honest I love the snow. It goes back to being a kid, the house I grew up in was at the bottom of a deadend hill. just perfect for sledding. Snow days were wonderful days to spend with the neighborhood kids going up and down the hill.
So today is March 9 and I awoke to a winter wonderland!!! So instead of going for a run, I will forgo that (the running book I read says you should run no matter what weather is, but the book is the "Complete Idiots guide to running", well I am not a complete Idiot, and the author never talks about running with a baby in a stroller). So no running, I must admit am a bit bummed I haven't run in two weeks due to injury and I need to get ready for a two mile run/ walk on Saturday. I don't think I will go to the Grocery store either, as that is my Monday Chore. So I will make myself a cup of Cocoa, start the laundry and Enjoy the wonderful book I waited FOREVER to get from the Library. I will enjoy a blissfully pleasent day indoors. The way I see Snow is it is like the Lords command for us all to take a day out of our normal busy lives and just relax and have fun!! So I will enjoy my snow day and the Blissfullness the Lord has brought me.
Yeah! Hooray for joining the blogasphere! :)
ReplyDeleteI will see you Saturday (hopefully, as there is a lot of people. Look for me around the registration table).
Soon you will no longer be a "wanna-be-runner," but an actual runner.
Hi Beth--hope you can get out there and run on Saturday, and that the Lord holds off the rain for you. Blessings--we want a victory shot on the blog!
